New pop-up food distribution now serving south Camano Island

Families on Camano Island have a new way to access free groceries close to home.

The Stanwood-Camano Food Bank has launched a pop-up food distribution site at the South Camano Grange, offering fresh produce, pantry staples, milk, eggs, meat, and more. The site is open to anyone in the community.

The distribution takes place from 2-3 p.m. every second and fourth Thursday at the South Camano Grange, 2227 S. Camano Drive.

A grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, May 14.

Families can visit any food bank location once per calendar week, and no identification or income verification is required.

This new location expands access for families in the Elger Bay community and across south Camano Island, making it easier to connect with reliable food resources close to home.
