Hello Elger Bay Elementary Families,
With yearbook season in full swing, we need your help getting content for the yearbook! We have a few different themes picked out and we would love to see what kind of photos you have for each of them. But first!, to be sure they make it to the correct folder, when you send us your image, put your
school’s name in the subject line
AND the
name of the project after. For example,
Elger Bay Elementary School – Mask Fashion or EBES-MASK. That way, we don’t have to bug you about what school or what the picture is meant for.
Here are some of our current projects... You don’t have to submit to every category, but you may choose to do so if you’d like.
- Mask Fashion
The most vital tool to keep us safe this year has also become one of the most simple and customizable fashion accessories. We would love to see your favorite and most stylish masks in a Mask Fashion feature page. Subject Line: EBES-MASK
- Pets
Whether it’s your dog or cat, snake or hamster – it doesn’t matter! Our furry friends (or scaled) are an important part of our lives and we want to see what makes them a perfect companion to your family. Make sure your photo is clear and contains your student. Subject Line: EBES-PET
- Work From Home
We were all working from home at some point… It’s now time to rummage through all those photos on your phone or camera and send us your best “working from home” images. Show us you at your workstation, with any cool school supplies that helped you out, or any fun projects you worked on. We want to see what working from home looked like for you. If you’re still distance learning, get creative and take a fun picture from your desk during a break. Subject Line: EBES-WORKHOME
- PE/RECESS
Distance learning from home and staying quarantined must have made some people stir crazy! We want to see how you spent any “RECESS/PE” exercise time to take a break from the school work and COVID craziness. Maybe you took a run or went on a hike or rode your bike or skateboard around your neighborhood, send us your pictures of you sweating it out and being active. Subject line: EBES-PE
5. When I Grow Up
When we were younger, we all had an idea of what we wanted to be when we grew up. Whether it was an actor, a fireman, a nurse, or even the president – Figuring out what you want to be as an adult is one the first big signs of individuality and self-discovery. If your student has an affinity for cooking and wants to be a chef, or loves getting their hands dirty working in the garage as a mechanic, we want to see those future movers and shakers making it happen. Props can add additional visual aid to the image, but are not required. Subject line: EBES-Grow Up
So, pull out the camera, capture a nice image of your student and submit it to us here at
fireflyyrbk@comcast.net no later than April 15th! Be sure to label your email’s subject line correctly with school name and the project you are submitting a photo for! Keep the background simple and be sure that it is a JPG and not too dark or too bright. Firefly Images appreciates all your help in making this yearbook the best it can be.
Thank you,
Firefly Images
Also, If you haven’t ordered a yearbook yet, be sure to place your order before April 15th
